Not strictly cr I know (also in nl). Does anyone know of any livery yards in or around mc clean va. Am emigrating to the area and struggling to find yards. Thanks (:

Also, check out the USEF site, find what Region you would be in and then do a search for local organisations. There should also be a competitions list, which will have contract info for host venues.

Sorry slip of fingers - meant to say this looks like useful site also VADANova is the local Dressage organisation which I think gives group Membership to USDF.

I think the areas you are looking may be quite limited as quite built up - it is not unusual for people to keep there horses quite a way out of the city.

Do ask on COTH. But don't ask about livery yards, because very few people will know what you mean. Do you mean a place to board a horse or a place to ride? The latter is called a "lesson barn".

Do look up Vadanova, they are very active, and ask COTH, but we call them "boarding barns" in the states. I'm in North Carolina, so just south of VA, but we show up there several times a year, but more around Lexington- in the mountains. One of the best parts in the whole country to be a horse person!

Thanks everyone. I am looking for a boarding barn. Had a drive around the area today and saw some barns around great falls and surrounding areas so will have a look on the net. Thanks again for the advice
