Does anybody have any knowledge they can share about using an ArcEquine machine on Humans.
My mum suffers from chronic back, leg and hip pain for a variety of reasons but mostly due to nerve and tissue damage and having seen many many people and tried numerous methods of trying to fix it the current consultant says it is now basically all about building up the tissue in the damaged area.
I have heard of the wonders the machine does in the equine world, and have looked at their website however cant find anything that suggests against human use..
She is getting rather desperate now so I had this little brainwave and wondered if it was a viable option!
Thanks in advance :)

I don't have one, but when my horse was injured I did a lot of research on the arc. I believe the original idea came from micro current therapy used by athletes to aid/speed recovery from injury. I think if you have a look on their fb page the there are instances of it being used by people, I also think there is an old thread on here about people using it. I'd say give it a go what have you got to loose! Xx

Oh wow, oh yes it does work!

I bought one for my horse, but I have bulging discs and trapped nerves in my back, compounded with bursitis in my left hip.

It was bad enough that I gave up a well paid job training horses, and had to change all my cars and horsebox to automatics. I had physio, chiro, cranio, painkillers, rest, magnets, supplements, and they all helped but I was stuck in a rut of getting the pain down, but not gone, so, not competing, not exercising, putting weight on and feeling dis-empowered.

After 2 weeks the first thing I felt was an increase in energy levels. Then I found that I was in less pain. Soon after that I was able to start more exercise. I also was then able to lose weight.

I put my husband on the machine too (it was a busy machine!), and his knee (failed operation to strip) and ankle (snapped Achilles that had been sewn back together) both improved, in strength, stability, and for being reduced in pain.

It was quite a dramatic change.

I don't see how they can work? The premise seems to be that they generate more ATP?

This isn't physically/biologically possible.....

Thanks so much for this, these are all similar things to what she is experiencing, with the worst of it all is not being able to get out the house and go for a walk or anything, then feeling very down about it

Anthony Clark the event rider had a bad pelvic injury, and accredited the Arc to his fast recovery. I have used it myself and despite not appearing to do anything when on, I did improve in my knees. I also used it for the first two weeks after an ankle break which required surgery. I was riding again in 6 weeks. Having said that, it didn't help a chronic shoulder strain, whereas turmeric has worked wonders.

I thought I was buying a waste of money tbh, and was a bit embarassed to tell my vet that Jay Man was on it. I was expecting a berating, but the vet said he could not comment on the ArcEquine, as there is little research on this particular device, but he has looked at the theory and he thought the science was sound. He is a partner at a major equine hospital.

I decided to get one on the premise that they do not often come up secondhand and I would get a lot of my money back. I would not sell it now.

I also cut out Diet coke, on the recommendation of my Chiropractor, who explained that diet coke is actually worse than normal coke, as your body tastes the sugar and expects sugar, and it is not there. It also leaves you dehydrated. I now drink a lot of iced water. I also went onto a magnesium supplement, a multivitimin and also a bath in Epsom Salts.

I the ArcEquine all in the mind? Maybe! But, my husband has also has results, and he has not changed his diet.

It is nice to feel optimistic again.

I know this thread is a month old now but I have just come across it.
I have a new AE unit for myself and another for my horses. The horses are another story in itself - but in a nut shell, vet said would not jump again and last year hunted half a season and did our first BE - now done another few days out hunting and going very well indeed (said it now!).
Me - I have shoulder impingement in both shoulders and tennis elbow. I had medical retirement due to my shoulder impingement from my 20 years service as a police officer - it was bad!
I have been putting the unit on every night on my wrist. I honestly tell a difference when it has not been on. I am in a great deal of pain. I wish I had used it before! I was always so strict about the horses having it on - but now my shoulders and TE is so bad I gave it a go. Much much better! I had used the AE1 which I found it fussy and a pain to get on to both myself and the horses plus I could 'feel it'. However I have not felt the AE2 once and have used it for a while now. I have had absolutely no reactions to it at all. The horses had some white hair and occasional scabs with the AE1 - but not much white hair and no scabs with the AE2 - it is much better. Some say it may be a placebo effect - but horses dont care about that sort of thing. As for me? Placebo? so what if it could be - I feel much better for it and think it works - that is good enough for me! Good luck with it all :-)
