Use of broken electric fencing posts???

I seem to have quite a few following some strip grazing of a certain 2yrs welsh pony, just wondered if anyone found any uses for the broken ones......????

iv sometimes used them to nail on to post and rail and run tape through them to stop horses leaning over fences and breaking rails and stop them fiting with neighbours and chewing wood.!

Don't forget the broken handles. I've got loads of them with the spring s-t-r-e-t-c-h-e-d.

Good thinking regards the wooden stakes have some of those around the edge of the field...cheers ears!!

Which bit is broken...the metal stake or the plastic clips the tape goes though?

I've used a couple in the garden to grow plants up (peas) and help a couple of young trees keep straight.

We also use them for pony games things like the Cup Race, Weaving Race etc

irish_only, I have just discovered (after too many years) that you can buy the replacement springs! My local electric fence supplier sells them, last was about 4 quid.

we use them at the ends of lines of electric, bound to posts that have other fencing attached, in order to prevent the electric tape working its way gradually up or down so that it touches other fencing lines.
