Used Equilab for the first time...

I use runtastic for hacks but it doesn't give you walk, trot and canter just mph.

Had the same as you with equilab, walk and canter but no trot. I know it was confusing trot and canter because on a hack I could see the stretches where I'd trotted and it flagged them as canter.

Do you have to have your phone on you when you're riding or has anyone used it with a Fitbit/Apple watch or similar?

I always take my phone hacking of course but tend to leave it in my handbag when I'm schooling, especially in the summer when I don't wear anything with proper pockets!

For £50 I have full access for 3 years to every OS Landranger and Explorer map countrywide via Viewranger. This showed our trek round Badminton in 2018 on the Thursday.

I'm a bit of a map geek, so this suits me. You can pay for and download individual map tiles as you go if you prefer not to pay for full UK map access.

That's good tiddlypom, thankyou I pay a monthly subscription of £4 a month on OS which is for all UK maps but that's rolling. Can you also plan routes and do they show elevation and give estimated completion times on view ranger?

You can plot and plan routes, elevation is shown, but I don't know about whether estimated completion times is available. We tend to use paper maps to navigate and Viewranger to record the route for posterity and to tell us where we are if we get lost!

Screenshots from a short walk we did this morning.
