Used Thermatex rug

Assuming you declare it as from the seconds sale, less than the full price ones as they are less than half price to start with, I think mine was £85.

They last for ever and are about £200 new which not many people can afford. Look at the link I posted to see how much they get in the specialist Facebook group.
If you can find any ‘Lansdown’ rugs, which were also made near the Thermatex place, they are excellent. We’ve several Thermatexes, do rate them, but I’d say Lansdown are at least as good.

Worth knowing thank you

However thanks to the seconds sale going online during COVID and a few years after, I've completed my collection.

Original thermatex
Knitted summer sheet
Horse walker rug
Quarter sheet
Covered leg wraps

And I can't find anything that looks seconds on any of them

No offence, but where on earth did you find this info?! Reads like a retailer ruse to sell unnecessary numbers of rugs to unsuspecting novice owners.....
Just do any Google search. You will find the info easy enough

All my 6ft 9" rugs have fitted 16.3-17.1hh horses.

I haVE 17 Hand swarmblood showjumpers but nothing takes bigger than 6' 6" in Thermatex so I think you have a limited market as well as the damage.

I've just sold one on eBay for £50. I listed it at that, buy it now, and didn't allow for offers. It was in good condition with two small tears and in need of a professional rug wash (some faded stains that didn't come out with my home wash but I know have come out with professional washes in the past).

My 15.2 cob is a 6’9 in rugs. My old 14.3 cob was 6’3. One of my 2yr olds is 5’6 and she can’t be taller than 14hh. I assume the stockiness uses up the fabric just as people say cobs take up the leg 😄
