Uses for baler/baling twine

Well now I am a big fan of silly, but also a firm believer that if you start with the silliness then you have to commit, there needs to be details....

Horse dealer-come-greengrocer I used to ride for as a kid invariably used baling twine as a belt, and I must admit I have done the same once or twice....

I realised this morning that I use my baler twine like the reins of a double bridle to keep my haynets contained...a timely tweak on the curb rein averted disaster very effectively!

Most unusual use I've seen was a belt on my friend's dad's trousers. Nothing strange about that, I hear you say, but this was at his wake. It made me smile, as it was a nice touch. No posh suit, just his regular (but clean!) farming attire.
