Using 6" loose ring French link on my 14.2 cob ...

... but concerned it could be a bit small, although 6" seems to commonly be the largest size for bits. Does anyone's 14.2 cob take larger? Perhaps I should switch to eggbutt rings to make sure there's no pinching (although the current loose rings don't seem to be causing any bother). Thanks for any help.

Can you post a pic so we can have a look?
If you need a bigger one then most saddlerys go up to at least 6.5" nowadays

Bigger bits can be found up to 6.75 in specialist large horse online saddlery shops - sorry cant think of link just now

My 15.2 takes a 6 inch and when I was looking for it I found a few places that had bigger ones.
