Using a carabiner

Hi,. I haven't read all of the answers but as a climber I wouldn't recommend using a karabiner they are designed to take the weight of a lead climber fall or something like 24kn. Or if you do use a different breakable point. Hope that helps.

The two I have clipped to my rucksack are rated 28 kN, or 10kN with the gate open.
