Using lawn grass seed for paddock?

Hi

I have a couple of kgs of lawn grass seed spare. Would it be okay to sprinkle it in a poached gateway?

What mix is it, does it say? It might not be up to the job (as in the grass that grows might not be)
Also if in a gate way it might not grow well if in use all the time!

Hi

It doesn't say what mix it is. Gateway will be used as access to next field but the field the gateway is in won't be grazed until autumn.

I guess what I need to know is will it do any them any harm? If it does grow?

Agree , it wont do any harm, but i did lol at this^^^^ i do this, grab armfuls of old uneaten hay and shake it out or lay it over poached patches!!
