Using Mobile phone whilst riding?

My OH does this and it drives me mad!!!

I never ever would, but im so nervous out hacking. and my oh trusts his horse and could ride him without rein control.

But it annoys me! And illegal or not on the road, it would really bother be if i were a driver, because as riders we ask for respect but being on your phone shows disrepect to the drivers who are meant to be paying attention to you. IMO.

i often do, i wouldnt think twice about texting or calling someone unless im on a fruit loop of a horse.
i ride horses all day so its 2nd nature really
i often wedge it in my hat if im schooling

I never use a mobile for work (we are not allowed them and I would not accept 1 anyway), so riding is a rare time to deal with my important (personal) messages.

I have also posted on HHO whilst riding several times.
