I'm on the hunt for a share horse, so far just by internet, but I've had tack shops recommended to me in the area for adverts that I want to go and have a look at soon.

I feel a bit guilty though, because my main purpose of going to the tack shop is to look at their notice board, rather than to spend money. I'll have a browse around while I'm there, but if I'm honest the chances of me buying anything are really slim, because I'm rarely riding at the moment so I don't need anything.

If I find a share horse this will all change and my worn out chaps/boots will be replaced, but there's no guarantees I will find the right horse - plus the tack shop would have no way of knowing that.

Has anyone else felt this guilt?!

don't feel guilty i work in a tack shop and the majority of people in at the weekends are just in to browse really, and then only buy if they really want or need something, at least by going they think they are making money, even if they arent as your sure to go back at somepoint
