Using treats to catch?

I dont use treats to catch them often but I do from time to time wander into the field and give them a treat. If I catch them they usually get a treat when tied up but not always. Gave the fat pony a talking to I went to move her from her pen to the grass and she walked away I said if you dont come to me you can stay here she cocked her head and walked up and put her nose in the headcollar with a big sigh it was almost like she knew what I was saying

When I was using treats in field he started getting nippy. He wasn’t biting and pulling back but basically trying to rip your clothes off at even the whiff of a snack or the snack residue.

He’s happy with our agreement of treats in corner feeder when we get parked up.
