No, I don't vigorously defend all hunting.

I just condemn those who condemn all hunting.

How's your trawl thru the NELS board looking for evidence of what you told the C C I'd been up to going BTW. Are you going to write to him and apologise for misinforming him?

I find it hard to believe that the entire field are there because they want to control foxes. They are there for the ride and the day out, thats it why it puzzles me why they are so against conversion to drag/bloodhounds.

I'm sure a lot of them aren't. What they are against is an illogical law passed by ignorant politicians in Westiminster. They are against the huge weight of nonsensical criminal legislation and red tape we are now expected to obey. The Hunting Act is just symbolic of the worst of it.

They are also against the vicious prejudice some of the worst of which is exhibited by your friends in NELS. people who hunt are NOT scum.

People have a right to rational liberal legislation which is precisely what the Hunting Act isn't.

Why should hunts have to stop their dogs chasing wild mammals? JNo one else has to? Can you see a policeman taking action against me becise my dogs chase deer in the woods?

Personally I think it's great that so many people have become engaged in the political process because of the Hunting Ban.

Severnmiles, nought to do with the posting, but, is that handsome wolfy looking canine a Cecoslovakian (sp?) Wolfdog. There are a good few here in Italy , the breed was started off in the 50s by crossing Cec wolves with GSs. Id love one but Ive been told that they aint too good with poultry. Cheers. Mairi.

Mine are crap with poultry too (lucky the fox beat them to the last lot) but she's not a czech wolfdog, apparently they are very 'hot' compared to the Saarloos wofhund. She's a british Inuit. :) love her to bits, except everytime we go hunting the terriermen say 'leave her loose and lets see if she can outrun the hounds' :smirk:

IM trying very hard :D. Have to think of my chooks! Mairi. :)

Hmmm...mother hasn't forgiven me for the demise of her brood...though she did get a new cockerel and hen yesterday to join the remaining 3 hens that were left after Skye and Charlie decimated them...she's happy now....or aleast she will be if I manage to keep Skye away from them and catch Charlie in the trap!

Beautiful dogs!
