Uvex hats

I'm looking to replace my Charles Owen Ayr8 which I've had for many years. My local tack shop stocks Uvex hats which I like the look of because they are lightweight and have good airflow. However, I'm not sure how robust they are in the case of a fall, being trodden on etc. What are people's thoughts on these hats please? I have also looked at Samshield but nowhere local to me stocks them and I would like to be professionally fitted rather than buying unseen online. I have tried a Gatehouse but it wasn't right for my head shape!

Uvex makes the best fitting hat for my head. Love them. They're very popular here and are quite durable. I just got their MIPS one not too long ago.

I have no official statistics on them, but I and others have been quite satisfied.

I have one, and love it! Also cannot help with statistics- Ingrid Klimke uses them though!

I love mine, its pas etc same as my Charles Owen but I wanted something that would survive wet weather whereas my CO has more to stay soggy my uvex dries super quick, its really lightweight as well and the vents make it much less sweaty.

Uvex have a very good reputation so they're what my little boy wears for riding and cycling. I'm tempted myself but do prefer the look of a bog standard jockey plus silk!

I have one which I really love. I get really hot in helmets but I find this one great. It's very airy, has a removable liner and none of the soft, velvet like padding inside that makes me feel like I'm in a furnace.

Plus its dial adjustable which is great as helmets always get too loose on me after owning them a while. I'd never go back to another type of helmet. It's called uvex exxential.

I've seen these for sale; liked the look of them - and especially as they seemed ideal for hot-weather riding - but unfortunately they were just not right for my particular head shape (oval).

A shame. I believe they are very popular with Endurance riders.

Really? My head is super oval ? The Uvex Perfexxion and I are a good match.

If you'd consider another CO then I have the 4star and I LOVE it - so comfortable and great air flow
