Looking at getting a new hat - I am only allowing myself about £100 (I dont really need a new hat, i just fancy a new lightweight one for competing/summer). And so like the Casco mistrall but also the Uvex Exxential too. DOes anynoe have good or bad to say about either? I figured that the Uvex might be a 'safer' option but appreciate that they are both the correct standards for riding in. I dont reall jump much at all any more....

Also - i am a 57 head so i am thinking a s-m would be ok as i have heard that Uvex come up quite large?

Thanks!

I've got a Casco but am looking at getting a Uvex next because they do blue and brown which I quite like. Love my Casco, light, comfortable and doesn't make my already huge head (61) ok even bigger.

My friend bought the Uvex and loves it - really lightweight and comfortable.

I have a friend who constantly gets ribbed about her head as she is skinny so looks like a match stick! I do love the look of some of the Casco hats as they do a lovely brown one but I would still need a blue one for competitions anyway. I dont think I will be flush enough to afford one of each! Thanks - I think i will probably go for the Uvex :)

I've got an Uvex Perfexxion Active and love it to bits. The only problem is that it's SO lightweight and comfortable that I sometimes forget I'm wearing it until I've driven halfway home!

I 'm a 56, and my Uvex is S-M, with plenty of room for adjustment in both directions, if that's any help.

I got a Uvex (Exxential I think) for my birthday and I love it, so light and tiny, although I think my head looks weird in it, but I think it looks weird in every hat!

I have a Casco, I love it.... Very lightweight and I am such a lover of matchy matchy that I also have the different colour cords to co ordinate! 😳
On a serious note, I just removed the stinky lining and washed it.... THAT is the best bit!!
