... and I'm disappointed. :(

I'm going to keep it as I really need it and I will use it alot, but the quality and the finishing is nowhere near as good as my old one without a tailflap.

I got the pink one and the colour is very eye-catching, which is fab.

The mesh is alot thinner and more flimsy.

The binding isn't folded over at the ends so it is freyed, also the binding is a more flimsy material than what was used on my old one.

The straps are a lower quality webbing with a much looser weave.

So, I'm going to re-sew the ends of the binding and I'll also sew the straps on a bit more securely while I'm at it.

Hey-ho. :(

The problem is - I couldn't find another make of mesh sheet that didn't go under the saddle. So it's either V-bandz, make your own or find another make, that I failed to see.

It's such a shame as my yellow one is fantastic and super-dooper. I will cry when it dies. ;)

to be honest I'm not bothered whether its an under the saddle or wrap around style one, it was more that I wanted a mesh one for in the summer as the fleece one is far too warm..... amazes me how hard it is to find a summer mesh one at all, they are obviously not as popular as the winter ones:confused:

Aldi did them over here a while back, they might do them again.
Also, keep an eye out in local horsey shops, I went in to one of ours one day and just happened to spot a summer mesh one.

I don't understand why Equisafety (for example) don't do a mesh sheet as part of their range.

There are some that go under the saddle on ebay.

So, after much dithering, I emailed V-bandz and they have been very helpful. They had a third party make some items for them, they've now stopped using said third party because the quality was 'hit and miss' (seems I got a 'miss'). Anyway, I'm sending it back and they'll send a replacement. :) :D

I have an Aldi one. It cost me a tenner, is mesh, is wrap round so no material under the saddle, just under the panels and is fab. If they do them again this year I'm going to buy a couple more as they are actually really good:)

Good news let us know what the new ones like. I should get one really.

ETA just seen JT's post would you let me know if they do them please?
