I am trying to find a fly mask for a shire, with quite a typical sized heavy horse head. She is around 17hh mark.
Have you managed to find any that you would recommend.
Any help appriciated, thanks.

I asked the same question a few days ago and the equilibrium one was recommended to me. Ive been away so haven't managed to order it yet, so I can't say whether I think it's good, just saying what others have told me.

I have a Boulonnais like a percheron and she has a draft size Cashel Crusader, I think it was about £30. Very good and better fit than the premier equine which came up small.

Thank you very much I will pass these suggestions on the owner.

Our ID/SHIRE/TB wore a shires one and it fitted the percherons, bouanaise and shire too. Word to the wise though, if they're in a field next to a footpath/public (like a national trust property!) be prepared for people running in shouting "someone's blindfolded your horses!"

Equilibrium was fine fastened on its tightest fitting on my 17.2 cleveland so I'd say they should be plenty big enough
