I have had my horse on part-loan since January. he's used for lessons at a local school but i have him as mine for the remainder of the week, and i get to spend a lot of time with him. cost wise it has been perfect for me.
anway he's been a bit of a grump in the stable but is an absolute star to ride. over the last month i've noticed a real difference. i've been putting a lot of time in just grooming and looking after him as well as riding and there has been such a change in his manner over the last weeks (alot to do with living out now i'm sure). i'm so pleased and we have the makings of a real bond now as he definitely recognises me now and seems pleased to see me... i may be reading too much into it of course!
not a very exciting post really, i just really chuffed with the progress and the rewards i'm getting from all the time i've put in.
