I was looking on ebay the other day and saw a really nice V-Shaped crystal browband.... Not usually a fan of them but my new boy has a really chunky forehead and I think it would quite suit him... I was looking at something with a little bling but not too much.

If anyone has one, do you have any pics you could post? I don't want to get it and it end up looking terrible! I've never really taken notice of them at shows etc so have hardly seen them!

I don't like them at all personally; I know they are fashionable at the moment but something in my artistic side hates the 'droopy' look to them. A small neat V isn't too bad but really don't like the U shaped ones they just look wrong! Personally I'd go for a traditional straight one with chunky rolled edges and a detailed strip inset between for a chunkier type horse. Horses for courses though and all personal taste!

I agree with Billabongchick exactly - have seen quite a few at shows this year and they usually look a bit droopy , like they don't fit very well IMHO.

The loaner of a cob at my RS got him a nice substantial browband with a little row of bling inset in the centre - it actually looks really well on him, I think because it has a bit of sparkle but isn't overly detailed.

I don't like the V-Shaped ones, but I have a U Shape that came with my bridle

I really hated them until someone bought me one for my birthday ... I am totally bling-addicted now. Have a V-shape on my longer faced horse and a U-shape on a fat-face cob and they both look great in my opinion. I feel like a traitor to tradition, but on the other hand you only live once :0

I think they are awful too :o

I saw particular one on an advert photo somewhere, beautiful bay TB-looking horse wearing the most hideous clunky patent double bridle with one of these browbands (droopy looking I agree) and I thought the whole clunky droopy effect really distracted from what was obviously a stunning animal.

Whatever floats your boat though! Are you any good with photoshop? Try photoshopping some on your horse to see if you like it :p
