vaccination question

i know this should probably be in veterinary but more people here.

anyway my question is if you have a horse who's vacs are up to date put in with a horse who hasnt had vaccinations done for a long time if even at all would the vaccinated horse be at any risk if the non vaccinated horse were to get his done?

basically my loaner has put hercules in with a friends horse who is unvaccinated but is getin done next week just flu and tetnus could there be any ill effect on hercs if other horse gets his done?

does that make any sense?

No, your horse should be fine - unless he already has outward signs of illness he's unlikely to be carrying flu - you can't 'catch' tetanus from another horse.

ok thanks i kinda figured about the tetanus i just thought i would say what he was geting. oo gonna say aswell i'll be home next week so there will be lots of pictures of hercules and new horsey

That is what the vaccination is for, to protect should your horse come in contact with...
