Hey guys, just a quick question.
My mares vaccinations are overdue (i know, slap my wrists), and i know this means that she will need to re start the course now. I was wondering how many vaccines they need to kickstart it all, and roughly how much this will all cost?

to restart vaccinations 1st jab , 2nd jab is 21 to 90 days (i think) and 3rd jab 6 months from second, then annually!! each flu/tet jab approx 28 to 30 pounds, plus call out plus injection fee!
 
Oooh, looks like im gonna be nice and poor to start 2010 then! Serves me right for not keeping on top of it. Id better get cracking sorting it out,

As ofcourseyoucan said its 3 injections. Charges here are £38 per injection most of ours are done on zone visits so no call out fee!

Our local vets charge approx £44 for flu & tet vacc + call out fee and slightly cheaper for flu only (£38 ish i think) + call out, so not cheap but worth it. Def 3 vaccs, 1st & 2nd are flu & tet (21-90 days apart) and 3rd is flu only (between 150-215 days after 2nd if i remember right, worth checking with your vet though). I think prices vary lots depending on what area you're in. We always try & share call outs though & split the visit charge, making it slightly cheaper all round
