If you have missed the vaccination date by a day or two does your vet make you start the vaccinations from the begining again and also if they see it has been done late in the past?
Also do you ride after you horse has had their vaccination?

Yes you will have to start the course again - even if your vet does not pick up on it, it renders your vaccinations as void.

A lady at my yard went to the national RC champs this year and was not allowed to compete because one of her jabs 2 years ago was a few days over, so it does count even if you have had a few jabs since.

Are they actually not covered if it has been missed by a day or two?
Mine are all up to date so am just wondering, one was done today so i am not allowed to ride himfor 24hrs.

Along practical lines, a day or two out is no problem, it's just if you want to go to a competition you start having issues.
As long as he seems fine in himself tomorrow, I don't see any reason you can't ride, but I would keep it short and not too strenuous.

They checked mine on a little wheel thing when I did the Riding Clubs teams, really stupid but my heart was in my mouth. Thank goad it was all right.

Last year my vet said that up to a couple of weeks over will not effect the horse but will for comps, you must start again. That is one, then another at 6 weeks & another at 6 months - then annually. Oh is that right I can't remember now

if you dont compete under rules then the horse is still covered against flu and tet, so if only hacking etc i wouldnt worry too much, but if you wish to compete RC, BE,PC etc then you will need to restart the whole course of 3 jabs! your vet is the best to advise you and only you know what you hope to do competing wise!
