vacuum cleaning horses???

nothing unusual in that
I have four and I use my vacuum on them especially before I clip them...............you'd never believe the dust that comes out of the coats and their coats feel like silk afterwards cause they are completely dust free..................
 
Are you seriously telling me it's safe to use a bog standard vacuum on my filthy with dust grey mare!?!

WOW, always thought it was a good idea but thought it would be dangerous or something?!?
 
Yeah I guessed the vid wasn't a normal hoover, just wasn't sure wether Samerlin meant she uses her vacuum as in vacuum vacuum, me and wishful thinking.......

If you get a lightweight hoover with long hose that you can carry around, you just need a brush that clips on the end; there used to be a company that made them especially. Just watch the cable.
They're no different to clippers and the horses usually push themselves into it, must be a nice massage to them.

i love doing the bath the old fashioned way tho' nice soapy coat and good rinse down with the hose on a really hot day.
 
haha yeh i thought that about the colour of the water... that was really fairly clean!

i definately think it is useful, i almost broke the clippers this year because of all the dust under his coat that i couldn't get out with a brush
