Has anyone got their four legged friend on this?
I know it's banned by the Jockey Club under FEI ruling, so that must mean it's pretty good, right?
I need something to help my horse relax and not be so uptight. He's not naughty and he's not 'high-spirited' he's a very nervous and stressed.
I have just started walking him out in hand after nearly 12 weeks of box rest and it seems that out of the safety of his stable and barn he's petrified. He has always been nervous hacking out alone anyway, that's just him. I am looking into valerian for him to be on to help and keep him on it even when he's turned out and riding again as no other calmer seems to work. I have spoken to my vet and have some sedaline now to help for the frist couple of weeks.
So any thoughts? Any experiences? I was particularly looking at the Linchon Valerian Cordial available at most tack shops, as it seems well priced. Any other valerian based products?
