Just found out Valerie Armitage and Lesley Bayley are no longer part of the website that provides Answers for your Horse questions Today. I wonder if anybody knew who is providing the equine expertise now and is it up to scratch? As these were two highly knowledgeable individuals with a huge amount of experience that I doubt new contributers could rival.

That explains why it's been static for the last few weeks. Not a promising start for something less than a year old but never really sure who it was for, lots of similar sites around.

I understand the person now managing the site is not horsey and only has a limited number of contributors - could be a challenging time for all over the next few weeks - good luck!

They are already recycling articles, and there isn't that much to interest me in the first place! I have tried to unsubscribe, and cant see how to do it. Anyone got any bright ideas?

Tiggy012 looks as though you are right - nothing new, lots of recycled and old stuff suggesting that there's no one with any horsey expertise contributing?

Never been on that site but i used to dread having Valerie Armitage as a dressage judge! She always marked harsh - but probably fair! lol

My experience is that she was always very fair, and constructive. If anything erred on the side of being generous, even when my horse wasn't up for it, always found something positive to comment on. Perhaps you were having a bad day

Or several bad days! lol! To be fair, me and Fab aren't exactly gonna be challenging Charlotte Dujardins records anytime soon so she was probably right in what she said! Although all the scores in the class tended to be low.

Coming back to the original thread, the site in question is clearly in a parallel universe, as according to their countdown, the Olympics start in 15 days, not 12. Do they know something the rest of us don't? :)

No I think its generally just not very well run, they even spelt 'dressage' wrong in one of their articles, their videos have stopped working and yes I'm sure a lot of their articles have been recycled, so what is the point of logging on when there are plenty of other sites???
