Was meant to be but now going to trainers and off to Markfield on Sunday, i think.

Tis a nice venue, indoor is rather narrow, but they do build nice courses and the people that run it try really hard, so well worth supporting.

Heidi 1, have you been to the eventer trial before? I'm going on sunday too- i'm doing the second class! how busy does it get normally and how good is the warm up?
Thanks

I'd love to go but I'm off to a Rayburn demo, which is perhaps best because this will be my 1st Christmas with my beautiful machine! - The pressure's on to get it right!!

So far the BSJA hasn't been that busy and the warm up is plenty big enough, have had to warm up in far smaller, busier ones. Cafe is good and looks out onto the indoor.

Looks like I now have a second horse to jump there. Friend of mine lives close to VV and is pregnant so has just asked me if i would like to pop her lad round aswell

Saves getting bored waiting around

Having been to VV twice for the BSJA not bothering again. Although it's a lovely place the indoors is far too tight for a very spooky young horse! Trying to get a straight line into the first fence has often proved impossible!

Shame as it's down the road from me too, but attempting Mankfield on Sunday afternoon, hoping by then the BN will be very quiet.

Agree with it being tight (width wise). I went up on tuesday to have a look and make sure i knew how to get there. Only been once before (with trailer) and had real trouble finding the place so didn't want the same problem with the lorry.
Fortuneately my lad only needs a couple of strides to a fence so should be ok.
