Maesfen
Extremely Old Nag!
I have just had a very enjoyable morning visiting where my mare Bea, (dam of Kitty) has gone on breeding loan to be covered by him and to say I am impressed is an understatement. The facilities are all well thought out and I found I weighed 79kg on the weighbridge, how embarrassing is that?!
Bea looked wonderful and very chilled out; she was slightly pleased to see me until she realised I hadn't brought goodies! We're keeping our fingers crossed for her scan next week.
Valeur R himself, is stunning, the pictures of him just don't do him justice and certainly no words of mine would either. He's a very laid back horse even when Bea was strutting her stuff just the other side of the bushes; nothing seems to faze him and he floats across the arena; well worth seeing if you haven't already made up your mind which stallion to use this time and he's graded too!
I hope Bea is thanking me for allowing her to go to such a nice yard where she is treated like royalty; she couldn't be in a better place I'm sure and I'm thrilled they think she is good enough to use, that's a bit of a boost. This is a pic Zoe sent of her this week.
Of course, I forgot my camera (numpty!) so you will have to do with this link to the stallion.
