Need to invest in new comp boots. I have been using New equine cross country boots and woof tendon boots.
New equine are ancient, must be at least eight years old, woof ones only a few years old, but both are well past being used in public and are only fit for emergency use.

Have a few friends who use the dalmar boots and a couple who use premier equine, think I prefer the premier ones, but im open to suggestions xx
So what are the boots of choice and are they good value? x

Im using PE and happy with them, good value for money, lightweight and very cool so dont allow the legs to heat up. Easy to clean, and yet offer good support. I do like the look of the Dalmar but are pricey.

We have a pair of older Dalmars for Reg which are really great but the newer ones we aren't so keen on.

NEW boots look the best- PE didn't have front and back strike pads which put us off them...

Thats interesting about the PE having no strike pad, thats them out of the question then. Might just stick to the NEW boots then, after all I know they fit her well xx

Wouldn't touch dalmar if someone paid me. Carbon fibre is designed to shatter on impact....I have prem equines and NEW and prolites, all which are good :)

I've had PE and was not overly impressed. My NEW ones have lasted forever so would buy them again for that. Last year I bought a pair of Mark Todds of ebay, new for £20 and they are mega. The RRP is about £39 and they have a decent tendon guard. They have airflow and don't move!
