How much would you value this horse at in the current market?

16hh tb/ connie x warmblood, 14 this year, nice looking horse, I dont know exactly how much he has won but hes grade c and has been placed and qualified in the amateur seconds rounds for 2010. he qualified for 1m amd 1.10m second rounds nation amateur 2010 season. qualified for discovery blue chip finals and blue chip power and went to the finals in april 2010. he has jumped foxhunter. nice easy ride, I only want him for rc/ unaffiliated jumping, I want a few opinions on this horses value, he is currently out on loan as his owner is working too much and he was going to waste, he isnt for sale at the moment but id like to buy him as I own his mum (daft i know) so how much would you pay for him?
 
Lovely looking horse and obviously talented - however at rising 14yrs I would not pay more than £3500 - £4000.

I'd say £4000-£4500 would be fair. He's 14 this time and has done the rounds, so this would take into account wear and tear. He looks like a lovely type. Qualifying for Blue Chip finals is no mean feat but he is not a worldbeater, and would have (soundness prevailing) five or six more years of jumping at this level? If he were nine or ten I would think him worth more like £6-7k
 
Would probably say more towards sidneys guesstimate, purely on age, looks a lovely horse and if his winnings are high enough then his value maybe more towards the top end and plus a bit!?
 
thanks for the replies, I thought he would be around the 4-5k mark i hope he comes up for sale because I am in love with him!
