Vanish Carpet stuff & some HHO uber crossed everythings for tomorrow please???xx

I am really in need of some help!...two little things.. I have a viewing tomorrow..my house is pretty much ivory, with lots of muddy pawprints, the vax has just left black skid marks on my ivory carpet, the dog is pulling dejected guilty faces because i am being boring & frantically polishing the cobwebs..I can't find the cobweb glitter spray to decorate them in festive fashion and the dyson animal has either hoovered up a polar bear or has a very nasty hairy gremlin cough... I am trying to hide everything horsey/signs of life etc in the loft, but the loft whores are being peevish & haven't left me much room. The pre house viewing tidy uppee magic fairies are still on their Christmas hols & I have a long night ahead...all do-able, but there is a lot to be done ( giggles and thinks of the mystical Alot creature...) so pelase may I have tidey uppee vibes...and some mega powerful make the viewer buy my house vibes too. She is coming from out of the area at 3 and I have been on the market for almost a year (May) with only 3 viewings, all with no intention of buying (they lived round the corner & came for a nosey:mad:) Please, please, please can it be my turn to find a lovely buyer(...and get off line & tidy up) I would love to move back nearer Mum ans have some friends near me & get back to the land of chalk & less mud & thinner rain/less drops per sq mm that i terribly miss....so am asking very sweetly please if you can think positive things at all, I will be incredibly grateful.xxx
oh yes...and how good is the pink Vannish shake on rub in & hoover up carpet make-new-again stuff...does this work on mud and Vax made skid marks or shoudl I get the wall paper strippey thing out & steam them out? Damson gin for anyone that is mad enough to want to come & give me a hand...berry strudel in oven so seriously as in RL you would be very welcome!!!!:D


eta Mud is simply huge bear prints racing upstairs after I've let him out a few times in the recent rubbish weather at 3 am..

thank you...should I give it a going over tonight with vax (will use stair contraption rather than as upright) and do the vanish tomorrow if i leave the heating non over night? its only stairs landing & three beds...he likes to race around a bit so his paws are clean before he gets on HIS bed...(usually via mine just to get the extra deep muddy bits off!):D:D:D
 
You have all my sympathy but I can't imagine that you would thank me for my efforts at tidying up - it is not one of my major skills. I do like the idea of polishing the cobwebs though, so perhaps if you find your cobweb glitter spray, you could send some to me, along with some of your damson gin, which sounds delicious. In return I will gladly send you 'alot' of tidying up <<<<<<<< vibes >>>>>>> and crossed everythings.

Nip out to your local Halfrauds (or similar) and get a couple of cans of Groom. Fab stuff, gets out mud and oil stains. Wish I'd taken some before and after pics of the car seats, mats and carpets I just cleaned. I'll just say that I'm now far too scuzzy to sit in my new car.:(:D:D
 
Baby wipes have removed many a stain from a cream carpet,sofa,curtain my mums house was a scary place with a small **** magnet of a child x

Hate the stuff! Should've made it with brandy!(shoudl have tasted gin before ruining the damsons with it..its almost as evil as celery..but apparently is amazingly yummy to those who like gin) oh btw...I think I was replying to a reply of yours on my other thread over Christmas when I fell asleep...you very kindly offered to guard my scary (scaredy) wolf pup if i needed to go to a& e...I nearly had to the other eve when stupidly bought horses a himalayan salt boulder each & one decided I needed a sleep and challenged the back of my head to a devious game of conkers...boulder won.horse had no supper.I really must do some tidying....
 
Thankies...but also gaaaaaaaah...halfrauds don't do open all hours....groom sounds like it should be Car Day & martin.. I wonder if gallop shampoo will work...its low foaming, might be worth a go. and sheath wipes..I have no babies to wipe floor with (or a sheath I hasten to add) oh GOD...

please can tescghanistan be open early and not still on silly times...

Super! thank you very much for both.....had 2 left and done one room!:D vinegar on them when they lost their effect...will have to put a few drops of essential oil on the radiators to mask it but getting there!..have whole shopping list for the morning now!(luckily no cat sick yet:D...tho I have no cats so hopefully will escape that one if can keep next doors out..he seemed to have a runny not so nice end for the first year i knew him...never in their garden & ALWAYS tried to take a short cut thru my kitchen between 'episodes':eek:...)

Seem to be making progress so hoping you lovely lot can send the all important same vibes at 3 tomorrow..I'll be sleeping well tomorrow night thats for sure!
 
If it's any consolation I went through the same thing when we moved house. When the sale went through I spent hours cleaning from top to bottom, even paying to have all the carpets professionally cleaned and touched up scuff marks on the paintwork. Two days after the move I went back to collect some post that had been delivered in error. I found they had ripped up the carpets, had taken up a newly tiled floor and were decorating the house from top to bottom. Oh how I wished they had told me before :-)
 
Thank you all so far..had a new couple call about house,first viewers just left,second ones in there right now, cross everything please xxx am holding breath only had hours sleep last night trying to sort carpet then stain cinched out on me soon as put the foam on!!!

hmmm..this was meant to say the dyson concked out on me...but hey ho. Thank you again for everyones help & ideas..you lot certainly did something as 1 viewing tuned to 2...so all I need now is for one of the to make and offer (and buy it!) Carpet is lovely & gleamy gain, well as bright as carpets get, thank you very much again tho, I didn't feel quite as abandoned as I did befoe I posted ..here have some maple syrup fudge:D

ets thanks re the bicarb...that worked on something else i needed to attack but had forgotten all about!:D

Thank you Mrs M:) everything still crossed.. had a third viewing (3'rd of 3 couples) this morning, so feeling a lot more positive and hopeful...

oh and the scrubbing with a clean dry dandy brush helped..followed by vanish spray on foamy stuff...and a hoovering furiously...a bit of dry weather would be a big help too if the weather fairies are listening!:D Keep everything crossed!
