Vanner moustache ...

just wanted to say that my Gypsy Vanner Cob has developed the most stupendious moustache this year! He looks like he's one of those chaps who wax and oil theirs into all sorts of curls anf shapes. It wasn't half as lusciuous last year ... do you think it is because of the weather, of just because he is 7 now and so "all grown up"?

I just wish he kept it all year round, but alas, come the spring it will be worn away .....

My irish bog cob has a moustache all year around, unless clipped. It doesnt sound as majestic as your vanner's tache, but a tache all the same. Mine's is all nice and curly, just like a victorian gent's tache.

Sorry! but my mobile is a tin with string, and didn't have my camera on me when I looked at it today and thought "must share" ... I will endeavour to rectify if The Cob will let me (he seems to think cameras are actually made of carrot and thereby edible, especially when trying to capture his toplip!!!!!)

Now that did make me laugh! My lad too sports a Hercule Poirot tache and is proud of it Even more so, when he rubs it in water or mud then wipes it all over me...........

Shadyoak!! I know just what you mean!!! The Cob does just the same!!!! he especially likes to give me a kiss on the cheek so I get water from his tache, drip from his nose and grassy breath in my face .. adorable!

His tache got so long last year, we had to trim it, as he started trying to eat it, thinking it was hay

Shadeyoak! I would have loved to have seen that! My Cob's curls up away from his lips otherwise he would like do the same!!!!
