vascullitus ????

after reading your post i think i must have miss heard the vet or there was a word in front of the vasculitis.
my horse has scabby split in the skin at the back of each coronet area it looked suspiciously like mud fever but hasn't behaved like it after the usual mud fever style treatments.
 
Did your vet say leuko cyctoclastic vasculitis?

That's the usual for the mud fever look alike on the fetlock area of the horses leg-usually white legs too
