anybody tow with one and if so what trailer type/size of horse are you towing? i am thinking of getting a trailer and have seen a frontera for sale so was wondering if they are any good for the job. my lorry is proving way to expensive with repairs etc etc and as i mainly only carry otto on it thought it would be much more economical to go the trailer route

They're rubbish and you will look like a drug dealer, leave well alone!

They are what I call `townie 4x4s` I put them in the same catagory as Freelander`s and Suzuki`s crap for towing, and I have heard Frontera`s could under load, twist their axles off. go for a Shogun, Landcruiser, G Wagon, Disco, Fourtrak, Hilux or that type, these seem to be a lot cheaper now, since fuel prices are going up.

thanks for your replies. looks like its back to plan A then and fork out for the repairs on the lorry.wonder if it will last longer than a week this time!
