But then equally my 15hh arab, who isn't a really spindly fine boned arab, weighs 420kg, and my 16hh WB (fairly lightweight/TBish) weighs 520. Think the best plan is to actually weigh it all not to try to guess what your horse weighs!
I know I would only ever travel 2 on our bedford, even though its old owner used to put 3 on. I'm sure it was well overweight!

I have a 6.6T lorry. When I got it plated last week it was 4313kg. That was with everything in it apart from the horse and my saddle. All general rubbish that you acculmate and water and fuel was loaded. So I have a spare 2300kg. So I could probably put 4 horses in mine legally except its only partioned for 2 and it's a 6.6t box. I think because mine is shorter than the average lorry I've lost a lot of weight that way.
