I really like it! Puts me in a very secure position, and is comfortable. I have broken in youngsters, ridden 'problem' horses, and done CCI* in mine with no problems, by far the most secure saddle I have owned for riding horses prone to 'moments' 
! In fact whilst I my ankle was broken my trainer (4* eventer who is sponsored by a different saddle company) rode one of my mares in it, and when the horse started rearing she commented how secure the saddle made her feel, and is now thinking of buying one for her youngsters!
Also I found the customer service fantastic. A horse I was breaking in decided to roll in my 6yo Bates CC, I sent it straight back to Bates who repaired it, and returned it by courier within 48 hours for free. I was stunned! If this one ever wears out (doubtful as it still is in VGC!) I will certainly buy another!
