Velvet competition hat recommendation?

Hey guys

Can you please recommend a nice velvet competition hat that won't make my wee head look mahoosive? They are all so bulky.

It'll be for SJing, working hunter, dressage etc...

I like Charles Owen's Showjumper XP hat or the CO Hampton.

I would also go with the Charles Own Showjumper range - looks really smart with the flesh coloured leather chin strap as well.

For showing the main two seem to be Charles Owne and the Gatehouse Hickstead. I would love the Hickstead, is very nice, not as bulky as the Charles Owen. Unfortunately for me I want brown to match my new outfit and Stinky, and can only see it in black (incorrect for showing) and navy.

Charles Owen - avoid the H2000 square - huge. I have the H2000 and it is a bit bulky but not too bad and I have a very small plump face. Looks like I will go for this as I can get this in brown. I already have one in navy. They are nice and comfortable. Charles Owen do seem to be very popular for showing if you search the showing clothing sites.

I am thinking of trying the Charles Owen Hampton - bit smaller and this does come in brown

Finally these hats by showing selection are nice, but again not brown for poor little me.
