Velvet Show Hats?

What is the best way to keep them so they do not get ruined really dusty ect? Is there a place where they are best kept?

A padded hat bag, I always steam it before I use it to bring out the plush. Boil a kettle and hold the hat in the steam brings it up really well for shows.

Mines in a padded hat bag - I keep a soft brush with it should it get dusty/or covered with mud .
