Can anyone recommend a decent ventilated riding hat which doesn't cost a fortune?

I'm in the process of bringing on my four year old and had forgotten what hard work a young horse can be! Hence when I take my hat off I look as though I've run two marathons!
Time to renew my gym membership methinks!

Thanks in advance...

I love my champion ventair to bits. Not because it has super head-cooling properties, but because it is the comfiest hat I have ever owned. My head's not been particularly sweaty with it, but that might just be because I've only really dondered about gently in it so it's not really had a chance to be tested.

It wasn't too expensive because I have small enough head to fit the kids sizes, so didn't have to pay VAT.

The sizes are really big in them too. I'm normally a 1 1/2, but had to go down to a 0 1/2 in the Ventair. Super useful if you're trying to squeeze into kiddies ones.

I had a troxel which was great around £40, but someone at yard knocked it out of my cupboard, split it & put it back without telling me/owning up - GRrrr

. So when i tried them on again they seemd to have changed the sizing slightly, the smaller one didn't fit & the next size up fell off. I now have the Champion & it's great - nice & light.

Had a champion Ventair which i loved - but didn't think it was very cool. Fell off and broke it and brought a standard Champion skull cap and really noticed the difference - dripping with sweat!

I love my Champion Ventair one, love it even more that I got it during a sale!

Fortunatley in the foreseeable future I am going to need a new one
