The 'third party' in Willinga Park's press release refers to, is the owner of the giggling voice in the CDJ video and her associate. The event was provisionally booked for March next year at NSW's premier horse sport venue. The proposed 'Triple Crown' dressage event, to be run outside Equestrian Australia rules, boasted jaw droppingly large prizes, and attracted the suspicions of the Australian horse community immediately.

Earlier in the week, a brochure for an event titled ‘Willinga Park YRS Triple Crown’ did the rounds on social media and raised more than a few eyebrows with its promises of offering ‘the biggest prize pool in competition history’ among other things.
Scheduled for 29 March 2025 and aimed at non-professional riders, the competition advertised $620,000 worth of prizes, including ‘thousands of dollars or cash prizes for every level’, ‘FEI horse sponsorships’, ‘European dressage training holidays’ and more.
However, Willinga Park has today distanced itself from the event and its organisers.
“Willinga Park was engaged in discussions with an external party regarding the hire of our venue for an event,” says Marketing & Sales Manager Nadine Young. “It came to our attention this week that a brochure titled ‘Willinga Park YRS Triple Crown’ was publicly distributed. This brochure misrepresented our brand, leading to a significant influx of negative inquiries that have adversely affected the reputation of Willinga Park.”
“As an organisation dedicated to supporting equestrian sports and riders, and maintaining positive relationships with competitors, governing bodies, and clubs, we place a high value on our brand’s integrity. In light of these developments, Willinga Park has cancelled the event booking.”
