Verbindend bit & 'tongue saver'

Pretty much the same! The Tongue saver is more like the Starter, but the only difference being the angle of the lozenge....

Yep the tongue saver does not have the patented 45o degree angle of the NS verbindend.

However having ridden in both, I cannot really tell the difference and neither can the horse. Both stopped his tongue poking out to avoid bit pressure!

Im not sure about the actual techinical side of things but the Verbindend was recommended to use with my cob who got his tounge over the bit a lot and he never did once with this bit, i quite like it to school in but dont have much breakage out hacking

Unless anyone knows of a Verbindend / tongue relief eggbutt snaffle?...

Nope the closest you can get in eggbutt is a sprenger dynamic, but its not as shaped, so I refused to pay over £100 for one!

Instead I got dad to make the tongue saver bauchers, all because my boy is going pink and gets rubbed in a loose ring. :D

Erm well embarrassing story - it was supposed to, but instead muppet (me) ordered normal lozenge versions. I am not miss-popular as we now have highly expensive lozenge versions that are having to compete with cheaper more mass produced ones. :o

We do have pelhams and kimblewicks in tongue saver though.
