I wondered if anyone on HHO uses this? It is one of those that you dampen and it expands. Our local feed supplier stocks it and I am just about to go for a change of horse bedding and wondered what it was like. Thanks.

Version not good. White horse is the best. You will probably also find it cheaper online by pallet or half pallet than bag by bag at a feed merchant.

I love wood pellet bedding but I hate Verdo, it would have to be free for me to use it. Search wood pellet bedding on here and you'll find much better brands in my opinion. Like White Horse

This, though they'd have to pay ME to add it to my bed as Verdo would ruin it. Brown non-absorbent rubbish.

We have just had a pallet of Verdo to try and I won't be ordering it again. It doesn't seem to absorb and looks disgusting quickly. Back to Liverpool pellets for us.

I started out with Verdo a few months back as my horse is ridiculously dirty- his bed was better but I was still having to gut half of it every few days so I thought I'd try white horse bedding premium as I'd heard good reviews- tbh if I had to chose between the 2 I'd go back to Verdo as Ive got through 25 bags of white horse bedding in a month Verdo lasted a bit longer for the same amount of bags and that included setting his bed up with 14 bags. I'm still trying out different brands at the moment but have heard good things about liverpool wood pellets and some called woodlets? everybody keeps going on about them being time saving etc but it can take 45mins sometimes to muck him out with wood pellets it only used to take 20 mins with straw!

Used them for a while but as soon as the weather got damp, we are near a lake 200 yards away, they just absorbed more and more moisture. Filthy pants who uses no more than two large bales of shavings a week was using at least four bales a week to top up his bed after I took all the wet out and it still turned into what looked like a peat bog. have gone back to shavings and it is much lighter and quicker but above all clean. Know others that have cleaner horses that like them though.

Used it last year, was happy with it, he is quite tidy but it wast costing me more than using Bliss the previous year, so have gone back to that this year, just to add we have to have our bedding from the yard so limited on brands we can use.

I used it last winter for a month only as I hated it, had to use 3 bags per week = £12, on shavings I use 1 bale = £6. Plus they were dusty and made the horses filthy!!! Did not like at all.
