Does anyone use the Equilibrium or the Veredus magnetic boots? More importantly would anyone recommend either type of boot? Not looking to start a do/don't magnets work thread though thanks!

Also, for anyone who uses the magnetic or normal Veredus stable boots, would they be suitable for use with different padding, say some Climatex wrap, instead of the padding they come with? Looks a bit thick to me!
Thanks for any input!

I have the Veredus magnet boots and would definitely recommend. The pads they supply with them aren't overly thick at all after a couple of uses, probably not any thicker than the climatex pads. They're attached to the inside of the boot with velcro as well, so you'd have to modify any other sort of padding that you wanted to use.
The outer of the boots isn't really hardwearing, the hind boots bobbled a bit after the first couple of weeks but haven't gotten any worse in the last 6 months.

I also use veredus magnetic boots, the inners are actually really good and very breathable, was amazed after washing they dry in minutes. Dont see why you couldnt use a different inner as long as you stitched some velcro on though, the outside is almost like a sports medicine boot then the inner velcros in.
Mine have been used overnight (so roughly 16 hours) every night since september last year wash the inners every week and the outers every couple of weeks and they are still in fantastic condition.

Thanks Bounty and SilverSkye, I was under the impression that the Veredus inner bits were hugely thick and was a bit apprehensive about using them in the summer, hence why I wanted to use Climatex bandages or something instead. Sounds like they should be ok as they are though which is great! Just wish they weren't the expensive ones
