Hi everyone i'm a newbie to here and looking forward to joining in! Am looking to buy a pair of these but they're not cheap so was hoping for some feed back on them, or can anyone recommend a stable magnet boot.Have tried the strap type and he didn't find them comfortable.

A lady at my old yard bought them as her horse had a tendon injury. She swore by them but he wore them 24/7 and he recovered quicker than expected. Only thing was, he started biting them as maybe he was too warm or itchy so he damaged the removable padded linings. Lady contacted Veredus to buy replacement linings but they wouldnt sell them seperate, so she had to repair them. It was also a problem when she wanted to wash them with him wearing them 24/7 as she didnt have a spare.

The verdus boots are fab and well worth the money.
Had them on a retired eventer who had untold problems with all 4 legs and they really did help him.
We left them off for a week when he went to stay away at another yard and they were left behind, he really struggled, his legs filled and was very stiff but having them on for just 1 night his legs were back to normal.

Good thing with the verdus boots is you can buy replacement padding so you can wash one set and will always have a clean set to put on, the boots are also fully machine washable

Thats good, when lady on the yard bought them, Veredus wouldnt let her buy replacement linings. It was a few years ago though.

Hi I was thinking of buying a set of these boots for my horse who has arthritis in his coffin joints. I been looking and comparing prices for a while and Frogpool Manor look like the cheapest. The boots range anything from £50-£80.

They are absolutely fab and worth their weight in gold - I love mine and have had them for 5 years now - wouldn't be without them - they are as good today as they were then!

Effective but both mine and my other 2 friends horses have ripped theirs within 6 months. My boy has ripped his to shreds as they do make the legs hot.

I have now got Armadillo straps which do the job almost as well (no good for support) and don't make his legs hot.

I was also concerned about them making my boys legs so hot, that's why I stopped using them.

:-)

I have a pair, they are fantastic, i used them due to the lymth vessles being damaged in one particular rear leg caused by an accident. My mare wears them nights only when stabled over night. They are fantastic, have never ever looked back, mine havent shown any sign of wear or tear and i have been using them nearly 2years! (I have the open fronted veredus tendon boots).
