I have bitten the bullet and decided to get some of these for my horse! ('Christmas present'!

) However, I don't know what size he will take.

He is a 16.2hh Dutch warmblood and has quite a bit of bone but by no means has 'heavy' legs. I'm not sure whether I will need the medium or extra large ones.

Has anyone got any of these? If so, what size do you have any how 'heavy' are your horses legs?

I had a set of mediums for my mare who was 15.1 TB and fairly dainty (pic in Bauble_becki's equissage post up the page somewhere), so on the basis I'm pretty sure you'd need the bigger ones! They fit my other TB mares of a similar stamp, but are a bit snug on my gelding who has more bone.
I'm sure when I bought mine I found a measurement chart from somewhere... can't find it now though

I got mine via ebay from White Rose Equestrian, she's a lovely lady and I received them quickly
