I have been using the florid tooth paste for just over a month and it doesnt seem the be doing any thing. the vet came to look and said that it is a verrucous sarcoid.

i was wondering does the thuja cream work and is there any other treatment as despirate to get rid of them ASAP

Your vet will be best placed to suggest a suitable treatment.

Many will ask you to take pics so they can be sent to Liverpool for Prof Knottenbelt to advise on. Liverpool cream is a very common and often successful treatment, cisplatin injections are another treatment. Lots of different ways your vet could choose to treat it depending on it's placement and they type of sarcoid.

Since you have had a sarcoid diagnosis from your vet I wouldn't put anything at all on it without your vets recommendation. Sarcoids are not to be messed with, and the first treatment has the greatest chance of success, with the chance reduced for each subsequent treatment attempt. They just aren't to be messed with so just hang fire until your vet has a plan of action.

Best of luck!

Never heard of toothpaste treatment and tbh I wouldn't have bothered with that if I knew about it.

Where is it located? Bailey had an aggressive one on the base of his left ear, and it required two bouts of Liverpool cream, the second cream being a much higher strength than the first. This has gotten rid of it, and with the more aggressive types, you can't be too softly softly in your treatment of them.

Bailey also had a flat occult sarcoid on the inside high up of his near hind which "popped" out. He has 6 thuja pills in his feed each day and thuja cream was applied to the sarcoid once a day. It fell off and has healed, and it did it within 3 weeks of the thuja being introduced. I wouldn't have believed it if I hadn't seen it with my own eyes.

You can try the thuja route, but I would discuss it with your vet, as I did, as some sarcoids are just too aggressive and the longer they are left, the more you'll need to deal with.

Hope you get it sorted.
