this is a self indulgent post, but my OH has just put a pair of ariat grasmere boots under my duvet to find when i get in bed as a surprise present! i have them on now with my PJ's and they are the comfiest thing ever!! pointless post but my poinio went away for schooling for three weeks today so i was a bit down, and these have cheered me up no end. he is definitely in the good books, plus he is coming to burghley for 3 days which he gets more bonus points for!

I can certainly recommend the boots for walking around your living room posing in anyway

What a great OH you have!
Mine is brill too - he asked if I wanted to come out in the car with him to see a client of his but on the way home he took me to a saddlers in Rugby and treated me to some rather smart leather gaitors so I have no excuse why I can't enter some dressage comps.
Aren't blokes brill?!

I think he might be! can't believe it, he is the least horsey person you can imagine and i didnt think he even knew my shoe size lol. think he secretly is getting into it though because i have seen him reading H&H in the bath!

oh that's so lovely, there must be something in the air at the moment! im sure mine secretly loves my horse, even though he refers to her a lot as 'that nag' or 'the money pit'!

Oh yes - I forgot to add that my OH is very non-horsey and also makes similar remarks about my lad (I think he's a teeny bit jealous sometimes especially when I refer to the horse as 'my man').
However, he has helped me muck out a few times and he even bought Jerry a Christmas pressie last year - some smart travel boots!

hehe, that's so cute. my OH was 30 a couple of weeks ago and i got him a card from my horse saying 'dear daddy, happy birthday!', i dont know what scared him more, a card from the horse or the fact he thought for a second i might be pregnant! he has never mucked out though, although he can empty barrows quite well

A birthday card from the horse to your OH - what a fab idea! Must remember that for his birthday in December. Don't know why I haven't thought of that before!
