Hi just come back from sorting my horses out this morning and my cob, has only done 2 small lots of poo in her stable, compared to the usual 5 or 6 gigantic poos. On the one hand I was pleased as its less work for me but now I'm worried it may be a sign of something amiss. Especially as she was brought in an hour earlier than normal last night and I turned her out slightly later this morning too.

I didn't put her in last night so can't comment on how she was then but I'm sure my Dad would have told me if he thought there was anything wrong. She had eaten all her haylage and her feed from last night. She is happily munching in the field now, and is as bright as a button so I'm pretty sure she is ok now but am I just worrying over nothing (and should be celebrating the fact I skipped her out in under 2 mins!) or do you think she had an upset tum overnight?

Watch her like a hawk. This can be the first sign of an impaction. Other early signs are drinking less, dullness, going off hay but eating short feed, laying down, too quiet, poo changing in consistency, i.e. harder, glossy/greasy look. Ideally if you see more of these signs call the vet, don't keep feeding her.
