Hi all, haven't posted for a while. I have a quick question that I'm hoping can elicit a quick answer. I'm not finding any help on the KBIS website unfortunately.

To cut a long story short I have an open claim for a condition that started last August. The claim can last up to 15 months so I'm well within the limit. When the condition recurred my mare was referred to another vet for more detailed investigations which cost a fortune so I need to claim once more against the same condition. As it's a different vet they say they need me to complete another claim form. As I've already had a payout against this claim, I'm a bit confused about all the "when did this first start" questions, because as I say this is a recurrence. So do I put all the same stuff again from August 2022 or do I describe the more recent events that led to the referral? The "when did your first see a vet for these symptoms" questions are confusing for the same reason.

Does anyone have any quick advice please? TIA

Aaargh, I'm being a numpty. I have just found on the KBIS website that there's a "continuation claim form" which is exactly what I thought I needed and no one had mentioned to me before! So ignore!
I had the same, ongoing claim and I had to fill out the same form asking the same questions every single invoice I sent in. Silly really as date condition first noticed and so on isn’t going to change.
It was annoying!
Anyway, hope you gets yours all sorted and paid quickly

I use the same form but if it's a continuation, you tick that box and then "skip to question 21" or something like that.
