Our baby TB's first dressage test today, would of been a good one, she went so well in the warm up, was a bit crabby when she knew she was going to canter in the test (First ever dressage test) And she's an ex-racer. She got 60%

She would of got 4th if our rider (Who wasn't aware, and I don't ride her now, she's my dad's horse!) Didn't salute with the whip in her hand:( Poor breezey:( And poor 'S' as well she didn't realise.

'S' Our rider rode her really well, she did try to bugger off half way through. and she controlled her and kept her on her line at all times.

If anybody is interested, And only if they are, I'll put a few photos on tomorrow.

xx

Pity about the result, but it could have been much worse. Well done on 60%
Yes please, would love to see some photos.
Teg :)

Why are you so disappointed? Sounds like a respectable score for a baby's first test! First time out you just want to give them a good experience and not be too worried about rosettes!

Ditto this!

60% is a respectable score, especially for a youngsters first time out. There are far worse things than that.

Well done on the dressage mark. (Try not to focas on the whole whip insedent as someone else said you live and learn :(. ) That was excellent for a babys first test :) Horrid and I are going to do our first dressage on Sat. I just hope we're able to get into the arena and don't kill anyone in the warm up.
And yes i'd love to see some pics :D
