very dry hooves...any amazing remedies?

hope you can help, since the weather has gone dry, so have my mare's hooves to the point that bits keep chipping off. Before the weather went dry her feet were super and when it was a bit wet a couple of weeks ago they improved again. I've been trying to make her stand in water when she eats her breakfast and the seems to have helped a bit...any ideas?

I swear by aqueous cream. It's cheap and does a really good job.

Kevin Bacons - Applied once a day in this weather - has made an unbelievable difference to my TBs cracked hooves. They just don't look dry anymore. Love the stuff

Kevin Bacons too - my lad has it on 3 times a day as his are really dry - once before turn out in the morning, once when he comes in and then again after ridden - feet have really improved

NAF hoof moist. My farrier says it is the only product that he would recommend. I slap it on mine all the time; before and after rides, at feed time etc and keeps their feet nice

cheapest thing is just to tub them in plain water. Or I use the green Effol - works a treat and their feet look great. My farrier says theres nothing better than Effol

I use cornucresine. Friend uses aqueous cream (yes from chemist) Mine has fab feet , but even they look dry at the mo.

stand feet in water for 10 mins, wait til surface dries and slap on some sudocream - cheep and cheerful and works a treat!
